When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, your IP address and your browser’s user agent are collected to help us detect undesirable comments.

Transmission of personal or confidential data and Media

We ask our customers and partners to transmit any personal or confidential information via our secure and encrypted form. Data is encrypted throughout the transfer and storage cycle. When uploading images to the website, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF data with GPS coordinates. Visitors to this website can download and extract location data from these images.

Witnesses

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, e-mail address and website in cookies. This is just to make things easier for you, so that you don’t have to enter this information if you leave another comment later. These witnesses expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to record your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a connection cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. With whom do we share your data?

We do not share any data with any partners, suppliers or others, unless we open an account for you with your consent.

Where are your data stored?

We do not store any PHI data, such as social security numbers, health insurance numbers or credit card numbers, and ask our customers never to send us such data. When paying Code Source Marketing invoices, your credit card or bank details will be temporarily stored on Stripe’s secure site, but will never be stored in our environment. As access is often required while you are a Code Source Marketing customer, critical personal and business data is stored in an encrypted (AES-256 bit) digital safe (1password), using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2/1.3) with strong encryption.

Other customer data is stored by Code Source Marketing with reliable sources, Google Workspace and Kiwili. Google Workspace stores data on encrypted servers in Google data warehouses. How long is your data stored?

As we like to retain our customers for the very long term, data is kept indefinitely. This enables us to offer support quickly when our customers need it. However, this data is stored in our secure solutions.

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information.

What rights do you have to your data?

If you contact us at [email protected], you can request a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.
